Department of Veterans Affairs, Northeast Program Evaluation Center, Office of Mental Health Operations – American Directions Research Group is currently collecting data as part of a contract to conduct over 41,000 telephone interviews annually with Veterans.  These surveys will provide a source of systematic data regarding patient satisfaction specific to their treatment or changes following initiation of treatment.  The critical data collected will help assess treatment outcomes and improve treatment for those who have served.

Department of Veterans Affairs, Women’s Health Services - In 2023 American Directions Research Group conducted telephone data collection, along with multiple other support tasks to complete the Study of Barriers for Women Veterans to VA Health Care. This study, comprised of 7,200 interviews with female Veterans will help the VA better understand the needs of the growing Women Veteran population by examining health care use, preferences, and the barriers Women Veterans face in access to VA care.

U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration In 2024, American Directions Research Group will conduct the second consecutive contract to perform multimodal data collection for the National Survey of Organ Donation Attitudes and Practices, managed by HRSA’s Division of Transplantation. This survey of 10,000 Americans provides critical data toward understanding why people choose to donate, barriers to donation, and possible paths to increasing donations.

Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration – As a prime contractor, ADRG conducted research and oversaw production of a new curriculum for K-12 and college students.  ADRG also conducted a series of focus groups and surveys, leading to development of a historic resources educational program for NCA to share its extensive resources with educators, students, the general public as well as other federal, State and non-profit organizations. 

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - American Directions completed a contract by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to conduct a survey of Guam and CNMI Residents’ Awareness, Attitudes and Beliefs Regarding the Marianas Trench Marine National Monument. ADRG worked closely with the NMFS to conduct a random sample telephone survey enabling NOAA to collect and study important information for its Human Dimension Research Program goals.
